In prayer I see that Jesus and the celestial beings are not here today. Of course they are everywhere, but today they are focused on the great suffering from the climate-change-induced supercyclone in the Philippines and Vietnam, the devastation, droughts, conflicts, floods, warfare, changing ecosystems and food sources all over the world. All the celestial divine energy is being sucked into this vortex of pain, suffering and despair. Even in a wealthy country, the United States, people are running out of food and are afraid for their children.  There is physical and psychological suffering – hunger and despair.

Those of us who have enough to eat, let us consider how we can help. Share food, send money. Or at least pray for those who are in pain. The celestial beings do not sit idly by. They are not apathetic and neither can we be, just because it seems so overwhelming. We need to at least try to help our brothers and sisters in our humanity. Let us ask ourselves today how we can help.
