Luke 2:36-40

This is the story of Anna, the prophetess, in her elder years as a widow, 84 years old, devoted to God, fasting and praying every day.  Her heart is open to God, and when Mary and Joseph bring the baby Jesus to the temple, Anna recognizes him as the Messiah. Here again is a woman, connected to the Holy Spirit, who recognizes the Messiah well before others do.  Therefore, do not underestimate women.  Let no one disrespect women, especially women of the Spirit.  Amen.  Indeed, Jesus was wise and beautiful from birth, favored by the grace of God, apparent to all who saw him.

Personal: You have indigestion, both from impure food and impure words that were said to you.  You may flush them out and wash them off.  All will be well.  Continue on your chosen path of writing and prayer, of communing with nature and protecting native species. All will be well.  Amen.
